Accommodation Rating you can trust
Harmonised quality standards for hotel and guest accommodation are used by the English Tourism Council, AA, and RAC throughout Britain and Ireland. Properties are visited annually by trained impartial inspectors so that you can have confidence that your accommodation has been thoroughly checked and rated for quality before you make your booking.

Using simple one to five rating, the system puts greater emphasis on quality and is based on research which showed exactly what consumers are looking for when choosing accommodation.

Rating Guide
Hotels are given a rating from one to five stars, whilst guest accommodation is represented by diamonds. Caravan parks are also now rated by a star symbol. The more stars/diamonds, the higher the quality and the greater range of facilities and level of service provided.
