Middleton Grange are doing a donation campaign in aid of North Tees Neonatal Unit and National Knitting Week from the 9th-14th July 2012. We are asking shoppers/local knitters to produce and donate tiny baby items that the centre will pass on to the nurses at North Tees. As not everyone can knit, we are asking for donation of any pre-owned/still new items that parents may have should their child have been born premature or spent time in the unit. The items can be donated to the staff at the Customer Service Desk near BHS from 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday.
Parents never expect their child to be born premature so you can imagine the stress of having to try and find tiny baby clothes at the drop of a hat, the neonatal department provide these items for parents to give them a little peace of mind that their child will not have to wear items too big to fit their tiny bodies, but they need a large supply of clothing...this is what the campaign aims to provide.
